After fighting for his fated mate, the Ohirin emperor finally permits Darren, his Dheltan warrior to bond with his Earth girl. They go to the Dheltan enclave on the lizard-people planet of Ohiri. Dheltans are 'refugees' who Ohiri took in after their planet, Dhelta, burned up in a flare from their red dwarf star, Yithir. Only those who were off planet survived.
